Calming Minds offers a unique service to children and families in the Glasgow area.
Based within Illuminated Thinking at Mearns Castle Golf Academy as well as within 1 Primary School and 1 Secondary School, Vicky Mulholland provides Safe & Sound Protocol (adults & children), Sensory Integration Assessment & Therapy, and 1:1 sessions focusing on Emotional Regulation and strategies to support children/ adolescents at home and at school.

Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
A listening program featuring frequency-filtered music, designed using polyvagal theory, to soothe and regulate the central nervous system. Specially filtered music programs train the brain to calm and regulate it's response to differing frequencies, alleviating the stress response cycle. Reported benefits are improved attention, more tolerance of change and challenges and reduced sensory hyper responsivity. Suitable for adults as well as children

Using the Ayres Protocol to conduct a comprehensive evaluation through formal assessments and clinical observations.
Providing a full report with strategies and recommendations

Emotional Regulation Support
Individual sessions to suit the tailored needs of your child. Supports include but not limited to Zones of Regulation, Movement based Learning, Story Massage and Sensory Integration Therapy

Direct session support for Primary and Secondary Schools in the Greater Glasgow Area is fully booked for 2025/26 session
